Join us for our Sunrise Yoga class to lay foundation for your day. This class takes a gentle approach to movement. It's perfect for beginners and even advanced yogis who want to get back to the basics.
Sunrise yoga is a 45-minute, slow-paced session held every morning in our cozy, temperature-controlled greenhouse. Designed to help you ease into the day, wake up your body, and set clear intentions yourself.
We believe a quiet and tranquil environment sets the tone to allow us to experience the calm we all crave to start our day.

In this approachable, hands-on workshop, we’ll break down the foundations of interior design in a clear, practical way. You’ll learn how to think about layout, scale, color, lighting, and layering so you can create spaces that feel balanced, functional, and beautifully you.
No design experience needed. Just curiosity and a room you’re ready to improve!

Looking for a simple, beautiful way to reduce waste in your kitchen?
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own reusable beeswax wraps. Bees wax wraps are a natural alternative to plastic wrap that keeps food fresh while adding a warm, handmade touch to your everyday routine.
In this guided class, you’ll learn:
What beeswax wraps are and how they work
How to infuse fabric with a beeswax blend
How to care for and reuse them properly
You’ll leave with several handcrafted wraps in a variety of sizes, plus the knowledge to continue making them at home.

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to take the intimidation out of the machine and make sewing feel simple, approachable, and even a little addictive. Elita will cover the basics to build confidence through guided practice.
You’ll learn foundational skills you can build on, plus practical tips that make sewing feel manageable (not overwhelming) through making your own personal tote bag.
Each participant will leave with a small finished tote bag and the confidence to keep creating at home.

In this welcoming, beginner-friendly workshop led by Trica Applegate, we’ll explore how to build a simple, sustainable writing practice that supports clarity, reflection, and overall well-being. You’ll learn why daily journaling can be such a powerful tool and habit for your daily life.

How to find your voice on the page
Ways to tell your story
Prompt-based writing to get words flowing
Practical techniques to build a lasting habit

For the past decade, Philip has been cultivating a 14-acre homestead in the Southern Tier, where solar energy, thoughtful water systems, abundant gardens, and mindful living all come together. He’ll join us at The Shoppe at 18 Mile Creek to share stories from his journey, show what’s possible, and answer your questions about creating a homestead life - whether on acres of land or in your own backyard.
Following this talk, Philip will also offer opportunities for private consultations to help guide your own next steps toward a more self-sufficient, earth-centered way of living.

Our Creative Dinners offers a seasonal menu designed by a local chef —featuring locally sourced ingredients. Expect thoughtful conversation, a beautifully set table, and the kind of ambiance that only candlelight, clinking glasses, and genuine connection can bring.
Hosted by the face behind the Shoppe—Caroline and be part of this meaningful first chapter.

Because our gatherings are intimate and materials are often prepared in advance, tickets are non-refundable. However, if you let us know ahead of time, we may be able to offer a credit toward a future workshop or help you gift your seat to someone else.

Each dinner is seasonally inspired and thoughtfully curated. Menus will feature locally sourced ingredients, either catered by a local restaurant or crafted in partnership with a nearby farm. Specific menu details will be announced closer to each event.

Seating is intentionally limited to create a warm, communal atmosphere. Each dinner hosts a small group of guests, allowing for deeper connection and meaningful conversation.

Due to the intimate nature of our dinners and limited seating, tickets are non-refundable. However, they are transferable—if you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift or sell your ticket to a friend. Just let us know so we can update our guest list.
