Begin your journey

There is a part of you that is already whole.

Ayurveda is an ancient system of natural medicine founded in India that looks at health as a balance of mind, body, spirit. Translated as the science of living. Instead of just treating symptoms, it focuses on what YOU can do through daily habits - like what you eat, how you sleep, how you move, how you relate to others.

Ayurveda asks the question - what can I do to bring myself back to my own individual wholeness?

At 18 Mile Creek we are here to help you nurture this wholeness. We’d like to help you learn about your body, about energy, about your spirit, and about lifestyle techniques and tools that can help you hear the whispers of the soul that sometimes get drowned out by the internal and external chatter.

Through our Ayurveda coaching and workshops, we will look at - diet, lifestyle through the lens of the Ayurvedic doshas (YOUR unique mind and body type), through the seasons and how they affect our bodies. We will look at nutrition in a holistic view but also what is right for you individually.

There are so many other things we look into - the emotional body, the mental body, and how to work with both to give you access to the stillness inside of you through meditation and embodiment. We also look at hormone health, herbology, body care and much more. While our focus is ayurveda for women, we will also discuss ayurveda for children and men.

This is not a prescription, or hard and fast rules, this is for anyone from any background. We invite you to try this out inside your own body knowing that something from 5000 years ago can serve us today as much as it did in the past. Bringing the ancient and the modern together.
